Last month, eight amazing presenters provided 100 coaches the opportunity to extend their learning online.

With such an engaged turn out, Bowls New Zealand will look to continue developing coaches and bowlers skills via further online learning and webinar sessions.

Bowls New Zealand are pleased to advise that next month Gary Lawson and John Quinn will be sharing their knowledge and experience with a session on tactics and mental skills.

These presentations are open to all, whether you are a player, coach or simply interested in the game of bowls.

The sessions will be limited to 100 attendees.

‘Tactics and Mental Skills on the Green’

The Presenters:

Gary Lawson: Current Blackjack, World Champion and 15 time National Champion will talk about his career, tactics, winning mentality.

John Quinn: Works with, amongst others, World Champion shot putter Tom Walsh and Super Rugby Franchise the Crusaders. Quinn will talk about Mental Skills Training and how it assists performance at all levels.

The Session:

The session will run for two hours,

2-3pm, Gary Lawson, including question sessions at the end

3-4pm, John Quinn, including questions at the end

Questions will be administered by the coaching team and will include those asked in advance by the attendees.
