Rangatahi Training and Development Camps:

This year, Bowls New Zealand are holding three National Rangatahi Training and Development Camps for all aspiring young bowlers. This will be a two-day programme with the aim of improving bowlers’ skills in a fun and social environment.

Auckland: 10^th & 11^th (Sunday/ Monday) October 2021

Wellington: 13^th & 14^th (Wednesday/Thursday) October 2021

Christchurch: 16^th & 17^th (Saturday/ Sunday) October 2021

Bowls New Zealand provides:

• Two full days training and development with Accredited Bowls New Zealand Coaches.
• At completion of each regional camp, the player will be linked up with coaches to assist with their ongoing development and have a personal report completed and sent to them.
• Quality coaching readying players for the National Rangatahi Bowls Singles Championships in Auckland on the 7th & 8th of December 2021

All camps will run from 9am (arrive at 8:45am) – 2:30pm with a 40-minute lunch break at 12pm. Accommodation and food will not be provided. The camp will cost $20 per bowler (lunch is NOT included in this) with a maximum number of 24 and a minimum number of 6 participants will be registered for each camp. Those who need to travel for this event must provide their own accommodation.
