This 2018 World Youth Championships will be held at Broadbeach Bowling Club, Gold Coast from 24th February - 2nd March
The National Selection panel have selected the following 4 players to represent New Zealand:
Men's Singles: Rory Soden and Keanu Darby
Women's Singles: Katelyn Inch and Tayla Bruce
Rory Soden
Mixed Pairs: Rory Soden/Katelyn Inch and Keanu Darby/Tayla Bruce
Bowls NZ National Coach, Sharon Sims says “The standard of play at this prestigious event is expected to be very high. The event brings together the future stars of all bowling nations”
Normally only one male and one female entries are forwarded from each country, however, the National selection panel believed it imperative to send two of each considering the depth of talent and exposing all four players to the Broadbeach Bowling Club greens, where there is so much International bowls to be played in the next few years.
Bowls New Zealand wishes the players all the best for the tournament.
