It is with sadness that Bowls New Zealand records the passing of Brian Guy JP on Monday 20th 20 August 2018 aged 83 in Tauranga after a long illness.

A bowler for over 69 years Brian was active in Bowls administration from 1965 serving Thames Valley, Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

A life member of Bowls Bay of Plenty, Brian was a Bowls NZ Councillor, a member of the Bowls NZ Executive, Chair of Bowls NZ Board and President of Bowls NZ 2001-2002

Brian was a member of the Northern Region Committee until very recently.

Brian’s funeral service will be held at the Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, Tauranga, on Saturday 25 August 2018 at 1:30 pm.

A well respected and knowledgeable man, Brian will be sadly missed.
