A new guard was elected in at the Bowls NZ AGM held on Saturday.

Completing his two year term as President, Mike Spring handed the reins over to Jeanette Sinclair of Carlton Cornwall Bowls in Auckland.

Mike has been a familiar figure at every Bowls NZ event held both here and overseas during his term.

On accepting the badge of office Jeanette spoke of looking forward to visiting many clubs and meeting the bowlers of New Zealand.

Outgoing Chair of the Board,  Cushla McGillivray, was thanked for her leadership over the past five years and dedication to the board as a member since 2008. Cushla was also a member of the BENZ board since 2004 charged with delivering both the 2008 and 2016 World Bowls and other International events in the build up to both World Championships.
