National Intercentre Conditions Of Play 2021

The 2021 Bowls New Zealand Intercentre is about to kick off!

The best bowlers in New Zealand are converging on the capital to battle it out for the coveted title of being the Bowls New Zealand 2021 National Intercentre Champion Centre.

To win a national Intercentre title is the dream of many a bowler and it is an incredible event that showcases the best of our sport, with all players striving to finish this event on top of the podium.Β

Defending their titles from the last time this event was held, are Canterbury for the men's title, and Auckland for the women's.

Both of these Centres won their titles at the Howick Bowling Club in classic finals, and we're sure that this year will be no different in regards to the unique level of drama and high quality bowls that this event brings with it.Β

Spread through all of the sections are an incredible array of current and former Blackjacks, national title holders and centre champions; to try and pick a clear favourite would be folly.

All of the results can be accessed below, and will be updated as quickly as possible. On top of this, all post section matches will be broadcast live from the Wilton, the picturesque headquarters for this event.Β

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to find these games, or search 'Sky Sport Next Bowls' in YouTube.

  • Teams are able (but not required) to include an eighth player allowing for a change of playing members of a squad between rounds
  • Playing format sees all disciplines play the same opposition in the same round
  • Scoring system places the emphasis on the outcome of the three games (singles / pairs / fours) that make up a match.
