Bowls New Zealand, the participant players and the host clubs are very much looking forward to the Summerset National Singles and Pairs Tournament.
Qualification rounds in the Summerset National Men’s and Women’s Singles Tournaments will be played on 2nd & 3rd January and 6th & 7th January 2022 respectively. Bowls Canterbury’s clubs and their players have responded really positively to the need for markers for these days (and the less intensive post-section days that follow) but we are still seeking several markers to assist us at a couple of Christchurch’s city based clubs.
Whether you are a local planning to come along and watch some of the competition, or you are travelling to Christchurch in a supporting role for one or more of the players involved, or are simply interested in helping out in the delivery of the tournament by giving other appointed markers a spell between their scheduled games, please consider making yourself available as a marker on any of the above dates; your involvement would make a huge difference to the overall tournament experience for all of the players and officials involved in the event.
