3 March is the deadline to register your team for World Masters Games 2017.
More than 20,000 athletes from 90 countries are already signed up to take part in the world’s largest multi-sport event, right here in New Zealand. It’s going down in Auckland from 21-30 April and it’s going to be epic.
Here are five great reasons to take part:
- The World Masters Games takes part just once every four years and it’s our turn to host. Last time was in Italy, next time it’s in Japan – so you’ll never be closer than Auckland, this April.
- A number of sports are already sold out but plenty are still open for registration – like netball, basketball, touch, baseball, water polo, rugby, the 10k and half marathon, ocean swim, dragon boat, table tennis, lawn bowls, sailing, triathlon and cycling.
- There are competitive and social grades depending on whether you want to compete to win or just for fun.
- You get to participate in the Opening Ceremony athlete march at Auckland’s iconic Eden Park.
- WMG2017 is a 10-day festival of food, fun, people, parties… and sport! Sign up and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
So, what are you waiting for – Register Now.
